This summer, Selfridges London will welcome one of fashion’s most loved and recognizable figures, Karl Largerfeld, as the store turns it’s third floor into all things Karl.

Largerfeld will visit the Oxford Street store on 24 July prior to the city’s Olympic kickoff, where he will launch a pop-up boutique. Housing his eponymously named label Karl Largerfeld and his second collection from diffusion line Karl, the pop-up boutique will also celebrate and showcase the launch of the designer’s debut ready-to-wear line Karl Largerfeld Paris Man.

If that’s not enough to send Karl fans into fits of fashion hysteria, the Selfridges popup will also stock Largerfeld’s Olympic inspired capsule collection of clothing and accessories. Aptly named, Team Karl it joins the list of fashion folk creating collections in the name of sport this summer.

The Karl Largerfeld Selfridges boutique will also stock the Chanel Creative Director’s recent collaboration with London based label, I Love Dust. A limited edition series of t-shirts have been created in Karl’s signature monochrome style and given an urban edge with metallic gold print. They’ll be available to buy at the London store and are sure to sell out fast.

If you’re in the area, make a pit stop at Selfridges from 24 July even if it is just to clock what are sure to be some impressive Largerfeld inspired window displays. You may even catch a glimpse of the man himself.
