Isabel Marant H&M Collaboration

Isabel Marant Dress in pink Parisian designer Isabel Marant is announced as the latest high-end designer to create a capsule collection for global high street store, H&M.

Isabel Marant, the designer known for their effortlessly laidback boho chic, is to join forces with H&M next season for another of the superbrand’s high-end capsule collections.

The autumn collaboration will comprise collections for women, teenagers and for the first time men, when it hits over 250 of H&M’s stores this November 14.

Following on from the sell-out collections of Stella McCartney, Marni and Lanvin, Marant’s H&M collection is sure to be a hotly anticipated date on this year’s fashion calendar.

As the news was announced this morning Marant spoke of her excitement for the collection.

“I am flattered by this collaboration as H&M works with the best designers and this invitation is an exciting honour” explained the French designer, “I aim to create something real, that women want to wear in their everyday lives, with a certain carelessness, which I think is very Parisian: you dress up, but do not pay too much attention and still look sexy. The collection is infused with this kind of easiness and attitude. Everything can be mixed following one’s own instincts: my take on fashion is all about personality.”

The collection is yet to be unveiled but we’re hoping for Isabel’s signature embellished trophy jackets, printed denim and chunky knits, as well as her statement boho accessories. With the brand’s mainline collection hitting the hundreds and up, H&M’s collaboration is the thrifty way for fashion fans to get their hands on a piece of Marant. That’s if you can endure the crowds come November.
