Free People Clothing Launches In The UK

FREE PEOPLE KARLIE KLOSS AW12 CAMPAIGNAmerican fashion brand Free People clothing has crossed the pond this season, launching here in the UK for the first time.

Freepeople.com has been creating waves on the fashion circuit for some time in the US, but the brand has finally hit British shores with the launch of their UK ecommerce site.

Stocking a plethora of labels from Jeffrey Campbell to We The Free, as well as Free People’s own collections, the site is sure to become one of the UK’s top online fashion destinations, rivalling the likes of ASOS and Topshop.

Free People is owned by the American retail giant, Urban Outfitters. With the parent brand being a high street favourite here in the UK, we’re sure it won’t be long until Free People secures the same status. There are plans in the pipeline to expand the brand into UK department stores and boutiques across the UK, so keep your eyes peeled around October 2012.

Their AW12 campaign has been fronted by supermodel-of-the-moment Karlie Kloss who has previously graced high profile campaigns from Calvin Klein to Marc Jacobs, and showcases Free People’s young, boho aesthetic and attitude.

The site is unashamedly trend led – perfect for sourcing outfit ideas or simply for spying a slice of fashion eye candy. There also plenty of wardrobe staples on offer and weekend classics such as denim, tees and knits. With new pieces dropping online every month, you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Free People UK has only been live for a matter of days but it’s already got us lusting. Black leather is a huge trend next season so invest in one of Free People’s stunning leather jackets. From distressed tan leather to earthy moss green as well as the standard black biker; there’s lots of options to choose from.

We’re also loving Free People’s department dedicated solely to dresses. From pinstripe shirts dresses to cute sun slips; finding a dress for any occasion or style has never been easier.
