The British Fashion Council have announced the names nominated for 2013’s British Fashion Awards. On the list are the likes of Anya Hindmarch, Christopher Kane and Cara Delevingne.
One of the biggest nights in fashion will come to London’s iconic Coliseum this 2nd December, as the British Fashion Awards returns for 2013. Top names in British fashion from models and stylists to creatives and designers will grace the red carpet, and the cream of the crop will be awarded with one of the most recognised honours in the industry by the British Fashion Council.
For the first time, the awards will honour one brand with the International Designer of the Year award; highlighting just how much presence Britain has in the global fashion industry. There will also be the usual accolades from Emerging Womenswear Talent to Brand of the Year.
There will also be an award given to a British stylist, makeup artist, art director, photographer or producer who has been a major game player and inspiration within the fashion industry in the past year. Named the Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator, the accolade will honor someone who has that certain je nais se quoi, just as the late Blow did.
