Knee High Boots

Thanks to the 60’s revival on the Louis Vuitton and Saint Laurent catwalks, no Autumn/Winter 14 wardrobe is complete without a pair of knee high boots.

Admittedly the knee-high boot isn’t exactly all that new. But the way we wear them this time round is what’s really key.

Sure, wearing them with a vintage dress at the weekend and with a pair of skinny jeans come cocktail hour is all very well and good, but the Parisian catwalks introduced a whole new way to modernise these style classics. And the answer lies in 60s sensibilities.

Whether it’s a patent mini skirt and roll neck jumper or an A-line swing coat and sparkling mini dress, the knee high boot is in-demand thanks to some retro , uber-feminine styling.
