Expert health and beauty therapist Abigail James started the treatment with a broad consultation that considered everything from the kind of cosmetics you use to the amount of alcohol you drink. Carried out on a full bed of hydrotherapy mats, the treatment starts with some gentle body brushing to get your circulation going and stimulate your lymphatic system. Working on deep lymph channels and warming with hot stone placements, the process of elimination of toxins to your body will begin.
An immune boosting lemon and tea tree oil that is not only antiseptic, but uplifting, is used for an all over body deep detoxifying massage. Heat from the pads beneath aid in the detoxification process and the treatment then moves to acupressure points which focused on encouraging and reinforcing wellbeing. The treatment is finished with a cleansing facial, using a hot mesh steamed with rose oil, followed by detoxifying and immune reinforcing reflexology.
You will finish feeling totally renewed, energised and enlivened (you may need to go to the toilet straight after the treatment – but rest assured, this is perfectly normal). Every step of the treatment is designed to help release toxins and aid healing and this even extends to a little passionfruit snack at the end for a final antioxident boost.
