StyleNest visited the chic, boutique day spa Adamina in Kensington.
Just a stones throw away from the shops and sites of Kensington High Street sits the elegant day spa, Adamina. Contrary to many day spas, Adamina is relaxing, beautifully designed and a haven of tranquility. The décor has been intelligently thought through to create the ambience and experience of a 5 star hotel spa. It’s easy to see why it has become a secret treasure and favourite amongst the affluent residents of Kensington.
Adamina offers an extensive menu of treatments, from luxury manicure and pedicures through to slimming and cellulite treatments. Manicures and pedicures take place in the dedicated nail room on the ground floor, where the couples rooms are also situated. Whilst the changing rooms, relaxation room and single treatment rooms are located on the basement floor.
The entire spa, from the reception through to the changing areas is furnished in the style of a French boudoir – elegant mirrors, plush seating and dim lighting create a luxurious and relaxing setting.
Another treat was to discover the steam room – something which many high street day spas overlook.
Adamina not only delivers on style and ambience but the team of highly trained therapists make it one of London’s leading spas. StyleNest reviewed the lymphatic massage – not only was it one of the best massages we have tried but the therapist was informative throughout and gave us great advise on how to help our lympathic system in our every day lives.
Coupled with the highest standard waxing, IPL hair reduction, Essie & Artistic Gel manicures and pedicures and treatments from specialist practitioners in teeth whitening, botox and dermal fillers, Adamina is the perfect day spa in which to escape, unwind and leave feeling rested and revitalised.
What impressed us most however, was how Adamina understands the modern woman’s demand for wellbeing and offers a 360 approach to health and beauty. Not only does their extensive treatment menu offer beauty and body treatments but also available are, pilates classes, osteopathy, rieki, acupuncture, nutrition and stress relief.
All in all, the friendly atmosphere, stunning décor and range of treatments has put this London day spa top of our recommended list.
