- Sometimes I suggest that if you are going to be in the sun for a long time particularly if you are going to be in the water windsurfing or surfing then you should use total sunblock with zinc oxide.
- You can apply total sunblock over the nose and cheekbones like cricketers and it lasts all day.
- You need to be aware that sunblock comes off in the water so it needs to be reapplied.
- When you are out of the water you should wear a hat and do not hang around in direct sunlight between 11 am and 2 pm as that is when the sun is at its strongest.
