Make-up artist Ciara O’Shea tells us how to apply eyeliner in an instant and most importantly like a pro.

‘Use a waterproof kohl liner ( I particularly love YSL’s), draw a full dark line on the inside bottom water line then squeeze your eyes tightly shut, this will transfer the liner on the the top lid. Two for the price of one. Alternatively use a slanted brush and gel eyeliner to print along the root of the lashes from the outer corner in. Dont worry about drawing a line, just make sure to aim for the lash and you will naturally come out with one. Then take your finger and smudge it for a smoky – rock chick effect. This look is easy to achieve and much more modern than a clean crisp line.’ Ciara O’Shea.
