After releasing their first neck cream back in 1981, Sisley Paris have now announced the launch of their latest formula to to contour and firm the neck and prevent premature ageing.
An often overlooked part of a beauty regime, the French brand are encouraging us all to pay more attention to this fragile area, which is particularly susceptible to signs of aging. With the support muscles of the neck less resistant than those of the face, exposure to environmental damage such as sun and wind, and worryingly leaning over a smartphone – not something that had crossed our minds here at StyleNest before – can leave the neck vulnerable signs of ageing such as creping and sagging, and the dreaded double chin.
In an effort to combat this Sisley have developed their latest neck cream to not only smooth and firm the skin but also firm and refine the area. With ingredients such as oat seed extract and extracts of Rhatany and Lady’s Mantle, the cream creates a tightening and “lifting” sensation on the skin and helps to smooth out any fine lines, whilst soy fiber extract improves the skins firmness and antioxidant Vitamin E Acetate protects the skin from ageing, oxidative stress. To help regain a more defined contour, Sisley have included slimming active ingredients such as red Algae extract to slow the processes that can lead to fat storage and caffeine to help eliminate fat cells and to reshape the area.
Sisley advise applying the Neck Cream twice a day for two months for an intensive skin care program, and just once a day as part of a beauty maintenance routine, with the brand including instructions on their website on how to apply, in order to maximise the toning, firming and reshaping effects of the cream for a more effective and youthful result.
