Was born out of frustration towards underperforming face products- why can’t they just do what they say they will do??!! The Hero team went searching for genuine, real people reviews of current products to discover what works, what we like and what we don’t! They then set about making products to fit that criteria. The end result is an amazing brand at a fantastic price point. The range isn’t huge, just 7 products at the moment, because The Hero Project are not interested in ‘filler’ products to complete a range, they will only sell the products they have complete and utter belief in (and the user reviews back up the efficacy of each item- all ratings are 4.6 – 5 stars). Their website is so nice and easy to navigate with inspiring hashtags and stories. I can honestly say that each product truly impressed me; all are a pleasure to use and the results are spot on! But, I must give an extra special mention to their new Night Drops- it’s like bottled sleep for the skin!

so called because founder, Fatma Shaheen, considers herself a ‘face stylist’ to her clients; she reflected on her 10 years+ clinic experience to determine the best ingredients for healthy skin and great results. In Fatma’s opinion (and I agree) every skin-type can benefit from a retinol, glycolic and/or antioxidant product, so these are key components of her range- she also wanted to remove the fear often associated with these ingredients. I can certainly vouch for that; the drying retinols and irritating glycolics of yester-year cannot be compared to the new generation product formulations available to us today. Fatma knows what she’s talking about and her products do not disappoint! My fave (so far) in the range is the Shape Up The Superstar Serum, it literally plumps up the skin before your eyes- and around your eyes for those of you worried about under eye hollows! It is also doing wonders for my nose to mouth lines, this one’s a keeper!

Brings ‘bespoke’ to a whole new level- a base serum mixed with over 1,500 potential ingredient combinations!
