Cult cosmetics brand MAC launch the Electric Cool Collection – a range of vibrant, colour popping eyeshadows.
MAC lead the way when it comes to dramatic makeup products, and this August they are doing what they do best once again with the launch of their MAC Electric Cool collection.
The collection comprises 12 limited edition eyeshadows showcasing a rainbow of hyper colours from summer coral to deep violet. The shadows are super lightweight with a high frost finish meaning they’re perfect for adding a light dusting of colour or a built-up statement colour pop.
As always, MAC’s latest eyeshadows are really easy to work with thanks to their impeccable blending power. The frosted texture gives the finished result a polished look, so whether you’re blending multiple shades together for a tropical inspired look, or with simple classic black liner, application is easy. The MAC Electric Cool collection is completed with a new large shader brush titled 249 – perfect for working and blending the colour onto your lids.
Colour-wise there’s a host of shades to choose from. Enhance blue eyes with an understated look using Superwatt – a natural, slightly shimmering taupe. Or, go for full-blown glamour eyes with the vibrant purple Highly Charged – a huge trend from the AW12 collections.
Priced at £22 each, these little pots of colour will look just as good on your lids as they will your dressing table. Whether to choose one statement colour or collect an electric kaleidoscope of shades is entirely up to you.
