StyleNest roundup the best beauty looks from London Fashion Week. Bringing you the latest lip-smacking trends, eye fluttering shades and finger pointing polishes – see what’s hot for SS13.
StyleNest have brought you the most coveted looks from the coveted shows over the past week and pick out the must-have beauty looks of Spring/Summer 2013 to make sure your hair, nails and face are looking polished and perfected.
First up is Antonio Berardi with Revlon supporting the looks for the show. Revlon’s Global Artist Director, Gucci Westman supported Antonio Berardi’s sporty and fresh look with an Upper East Side public schoolgirl wholesome face. Westman gave the skin structure by contouring the cheekbones with Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Mink. We saw freckles and buttery berry lips for a youthful radiant look. Revlon Nail Ambassador, Jenny Longworth custom blended Revlon nail enamels to create the perfect shade for the show to enhance the Berardi sports-luxe look. A mix of Fuchsia Shock, a neon pink (part of Revlon’s Nail Art Collection launching in Feb 2013) blended with Provoke, a pastel peach combined made the perfect shade of vibrant polish to coincide with Berardi’s collection.
StyleNest’s next must-have beauty look for SS13 was St.Tropez for Mary Katrantzou. We instantly fell in love with the radiant skin finish which can be achieved without a ray of sunshine. Skin Finishing Expert Nichola Joss and her team applied Instant Glow Wash Off Mousse blended with Body Butter which was polished onto the skin with a mitt. Following this, Rose Skin Illuminator was applied to blur imperfections and a gentle dusting of loose powder was applied to create a velvety tan finish. In contrast to Katrantzou’s dynamic prints and bright colours, Nichola developed a light absorbing tan with a velvety smooth finish with three-dimensional texture and zero shine.
Wella Professionals created the Hair Look for Acne with Eugene Souleiman Global Creative Director. The hair at Acne SS13 was clean and fresh with a minimal approach. Eugene created a handsome yet sensual look with a ponytail look and parting to suit each model – the overall effect was sophisticated and elegant. The ponytail was formed in three parts to add focus to the back of the head and increase tension. The look was finished with a gel stripe to the front of the hair so the light reflected off for a three dimensional look.
