Laura Mercier Makeup Launch Cinema Noir Collection

Laura Mercier Cinema Noir Makeup Collection for Fall 2012Celebrity makeup artist and luxury brand Laura Mercier Makeup unveils the new Cinema Noir Collection.

Inspired by the femme fatale era of the 1940’s, the Cinema Noir Collection has managed to combine the signature Laura Mercier style with the dark and trademark look of the iconic 40’s starlet, à la Marlene Dietrich.

Starting with the base, skin is left dewy in order to set off the eyes, which are a mysterious mix of smoky, sultry teals and deep, rich chocolates. Whether you’re after a bold statement eye or just a dab of everyday colour; the latest Laura Mercier eyeshadows will be in welcomed addition to your makeup bag.

The Eye Colour Pallette’s come in either ‘Mystere’ and ‘Suspense’ and work in perfect harmony with the ‘Deep Teal’ and ‘Ground Espresso Tightline Cake’ eyeliners. Topped off with lashings of the ‘Burgundy Long Lash Mascara’ and the smouldering look of the film noir genre is complete.

Nails are kept classic in gorgeous ‘Cocoa Suede’, ‘Organza’ and ‘Nude Silk’ and lips in brooding ‘Passion Fruit’, ‘Tea Rose’, ‘Raspberry Sorbet’ and ‘Fresh Brown’ help the look come alive with an injection of colour.

The Laura Mercia Cinema Noir collection with its muted browns, teals and deep burgundies, is the perfect way to embrace the transition from summer to autumn.

The full line is available now at Space NK and department stores including Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
