Harrods Launches Happy New You

Sweaty Betty - SportsLuxeThis January Harrods will become the ultimate health, beauty and fitness destination as part of their Happy New You campaign, designed to promote a healthier, happier and more beautiful you, throughout the new year and 2015. Throughout the store there will be a focus on health, beauty and fitness, with many of the world´s leading brands taking part, offering instore events, expert consultations, exercise classes, and exclusive product launches.

The store will start it´s campaign by inviting twenty three of the world´s most loved beauty brands to take over Harrods famous windows. Each brand will créate their own sports inspired display to highlight their hero beauty product, which will of course be available to buy in store. New Harrods addition The Moroccan Hamman will also be designing their own Moroccan inspired window, to celebrate the opening of their spa in Harrods´ Urban Retreat.

In store the beauty campaign continues with brands hosting a series of masterclasses and personalised consultations between Wednesday 21st and Sunday 25th January. Facialist Theresa Horgen will be on hand at Dolce & Gabbana to offer her expert advice, and Japanese Brand Sensai will be offering an Extra Intensive Saho Facial Experience, as well as an exclusive preview of their new CP Extra Intensive range. Exciting and exclusive products will also be available from many other brands, including Givenchy, Lancome, and Laura Mercier. And not forgetting about the boys, men can also get involved, with Creme de la Mer holding prescriptive lifestyle consultations, and Dermalogica offering their signature skin mapping sessions.

On the Fifth Floor there will be a focus on fitness, with each day between Monday 19th and Friday 23rd January offering a different fitness class, hosted by one of Harrods´ sportswear brands. Glofaster will be kickstarting the week with a high energy spin class, Lucas Hugh will be holding a ballet-inspired barre class, and StyleNest favourite Sweaty Betty will be closing the week on a more relaxed note with a yoga class. There will also be demonstrations from Technogym on how to use their resistance bands, dumbells and weights, and throughout the week experts will be on hand to give you tips and advice on starting your new exercise regime.

Once you´ve completed your class why not head downstairs to the Food Hall to rehydrate with samples of award winning fruit and vegetable smoothies from SaVse, organic teas and coffees from Le Bénéfique and La Via del Tè, and a selection of Harrods own antioxidant rich green, white and oolong teas. Harrod wills also be launching this month Harrods Green Juice, a freshly made, delicious combination of apples, green grapes, ginger, cucumber and Swiss chard for an antioxidant packed detoxing juice, perfect for getting you started in January on the road to a healthier, happier new you.
