Tudor Rose took inspiration from the Kenilworth Castle garden that Robert Dudley created to woo Queen Elizabeth I, sadly he was unsuccessful with the Queen but his beautiful garden still flourishes today. With lush, leafy top notes and deep Tudor rose, lily, iris and violet, this is a classy floral fragrance that brings the English garden into your home.
Citrus & Basil was influenced by the opulent Art Deco interiors of Eltham Palace- zingy and uplifting! With energising citrus, grapefruit, lime and orange top notes, lively basil, bay and jasmine at the heart and a woody base, this fragrance is so bright and de-li-cious!
Sea Spray & Freesia was inspired by the family home of Queen Victoria; Osborne. Built as a peaceful, seaside retreat rather than a palace on the Isle of Wight, Osbourne House inspirited a fresh, ozonic fragrance reminiscent of fresh sea air and coastal English gardens. Top notes of sea spray and citrus fruits drift onto a floral heart of freesia, lily of the valley and violet, and all lay on a base of musk, sandalwood and seawood.
These truly are beautiful fragrances, with something to suit every room or mood (I’ve got Tudor Rose in the bedroom, Citrus & Basil in the kitchen and Sea Spray & Freesia in the bathroom!) and I love that they have included drawer liners and wardrobe sachets in the collection- so incredibly English and oh so decadent!
