Cara Delevingne and Kate Moss front My Burberry campaign

My Burberry CampaignAs sexy and iconic as you’d imagine, the first ever Kate and Cara campaign has arrived…

If there is one item of clothing that is synonymous with Burberry, it is the trench. And if there is anything more iconic and British than the brand’s check, it would be the supers that star in the brand’s latest fragrance campaign: Kate Moss and Cara Delevingne.

But what’s most striking – aside from the captivating images – is the fact that two of the most famous faces in the world of modelling have never been shot together – until now.

In the newly released images, Kate and her equally as notorious prodige Cara sport Burberry’s signature Sandringham trenches as they sit atop an enormous bottle of what is Burberry’s fifth scent.

Captured by Mario Testino to the sounds of Jeff Beck’s rendition of I Put A Spell On You, the accompanying promo video sees the raw chemistry between the two power Brits, and of course their enigmatic presence in front of Testino’s well-versed lens.

It’s rather fitting then that Burberry have pulled off this double whammy just as they announce their first independently produced fragrance. The first of what promises to be an instant hit fragrance has been made in collaboration with master French perfumer, Francis Kurkdijan, who can make claim to brining this and those of Dior and Galliano to life.

My Burberry—a blend of sweet pea, bergamot, geranium, quince, freesia, centifolia rose, and patchouli notes—is aptly designed to mimic the scent of a London garden after the rain and takes its name from the affectionate way in which people refer to their Burberry trench.

Personal, natural and truly British, both the fragrance and the utterly divine images have won over our hearts.

But in case you needed any further temptation, customers will be able to personalise their bottle for free by having up to three initials etched onto their purchase.

The perfume is priced from £45 and available online now at burberry.com.
