Some of the biggest names in British comedy and music will come together this March, as Teenage Cancer Trust returns to London’s Royal Albert Hall.

The charity event, in partnership with beauty brand The Body Shop, follows on from last year’s incredible success, which saw Noel Gallagher and Teenage Cancer Trust Patron Roger Daltrey CBE curate the show. The music duo return for 2014, and have announced a bevy of artists on the bill.

Artists announced to perform at the weeklong music event include The Cure, Suede, Ed Sheeran, Paolo Nutini and One Republic. Comedy fans will also be pleased to hear an evening of laughter has been added to the bill, with a stellar line-up of Jason Manford, John Bishop, Micky Flannigan, Patrick Kielty, Rob Beckett and Hal Cruttenden.

The gigs will take place from 24-30 March, with Brit award winner, Ed Sheeran kicking off the event.

The Body Shop Brush Kit“When Noel asked me to play last year I couldn’t as I was touring Australia. I promised him and Roger that if they wanted me another time I’d be there, so here I am! I’m the same age as some of the people the charity helps and it’s a real honour to be asked. I hope we raise lots of money and awareness for Teenage Cancer Trust, ” Ed Sheeran commented.

Brit Pop favourites, Suede will close the show on Sunday 30 March with an epic 20th anniversary gig.

The Body Shop will be doing their bit too, with three Makeup Brush Kits launching online and on store. Up to £2 from each brush kit sold will be donated to Teenage Cancer Trust. The ethical beauty brand have also pledged to match-fund donations made at the music and comedy shows for the second year running, up to a value of £30,000.

Teenage Cancer Trust is the only charity in the UK dedicated to supporting young people between 13-24 battling cancer. There’s never a good time to fight cancer, but during these sensitive years it can seem even more terrifying. Show your support.

Tickets are on sale now, priced at £25 plus booking fee. Show your support and shop The Body Shop’s Brush Sets and donate to Teenage Cancer Trust at the same time.
