TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Hot Nature Trend

Inspired by the tropical prints seen at Emilio Pucci, Topshop Unique and Hermes, the Hot Nature trend sees relaxed textured hair for the day whilst a slick finish for the night. A post-beach textured look, TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe products such as casual sea salt and texturising spray are key to creating this look for a sexy tousled vibe.

For the evening, a smooth but sporty look inspired by Gucci SS14 offers a sophisticated and luxurious look. Slicked back and casual, the radiating tropical elixir gives a high shine finish. “I love the slicked hair here combined with the bright orange flowers. It really evokes a feeling of the hot tropics, Both hair and wardrobe are effortless but striking”. – Anna Trevelyan on Gucci

TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Game On Trend

Game On waves goodbye to the prim and proper hair of AW13 and welcomes a playful new aesthetic of redefined glamour accented with a whimsical flair. Big, larger than life and voluminous hair became tousled and fearless. Vivienne Westwood Red Label was at heart of this look with a fierce, free and full volume aesthetic. “Holly Fulton has gone for a refined messy glamour look. Messy curls but kept in a glamorous check. I’m sure as well in editorial styling, lots of celebrities will adopt this look on the red carpet” – Anna Trevelyan on Holly Fulton.

Using volumiser and glamour volume plumping whip, the hair was given a glamorous dishevelled look that compliments the most of show stopping prints and candy coloured looks.

Inspired by the seas, South of France and nautical references, the Port of Seas look is inspired by the SS14 catwalk look of cropped white pants, chambray shirts and navy shorts. With a schoolboy side parting and high shine finish, the soft waves inspired by the sea offer a ripple effect. Seen at Marc by Marc Jacobs and with a slick side comb over at Jil Sander, waver memoriser and classic shine gloss serum are used to create this jet setter look.

TONI&GUY Hair Meet Wardrobe Port of Seas Trend

The experimental Emo Tech trend lends itself to the catwalks with a luxe, sporty, high tech finish. This look is all about finger moulding for a slick and sculpted finish. With inspiration from David Koma’s body con dresses, the hair is sectioned and panelled as well as slicked backed, mirroring Katie Gallagher’s bandage collection.

After Burberry’s AW13 statement vinyl skirt, the latex trend continues this SS14 with reflective latex bodices at Gareth Pugh whilst the hair is complimented with a wet look waxy finish. Creative style spray wax is the key in creating this sculptured look which travelled throughout SS14, “With so much technical experimentation in the fabrics of each of Macdonald’s garments, the models need shiny slick hair to balance out those looks” – Anna Trevelyan on Julian Macdonald.

Adopt a new style and use your hair to redefine your look this SS14.
