Who doesn’t love some limited edition beauty? These seasonal Halloween and Christmas treats will be hard to resist, so save some pennies…
Top budget makeup brand Sleek MakeUP’s latest collection will be available from 21st September. The Halloween Hotspot Collection features another one of their adored highlighting palettes – the golden Cleopatra’s Kiss quad (£9.99), three vampy new shades of their conditioning Lip VIP lipsticks (£5.50) and a new black Dip It Liquid Eyeliner (£4.99). This range has real ‘goddess’ vibes.
Soap & Glory, available from Boots, are THE beauty brand when it comes to Christmas gifting. Their limited edition sets sell out like hotcakes and are always incredible value for money. They have just announced this year’s offerings and you are going to be impressed. My picks of the line-up are the 12 Christmas Washes set (£30) which includes 12 mini versions of Soap & Glory’s cult body scrubs and shower gels – perfect if you haven’t tried much of their stuff yet. There’s also an amazing Foam and For-Tune set (£16) that has packaging which plays music and contains Clean On Me Shower Gel, The Righteous Butter Body Butter, The Scrub of Your Life Body Buffer, Sugar Crush Body Wash, Sugar Crush Body Butter and Sudsy Puff Body Polisher – such good value.
Tanya Burr’s AW16 makeup collection (available from Superdrug) is stunning and is available from October. Its metallic rose gold packaging will make you want it all. There are three new Cheek Illuminator cream highlighting sticks, as well as a liquid Face Illuminator and Body Illuminator. There’s also a new eyeshadow palette with midnight blue shades and six new lipsticks. Get ready to get your glow on.
Too Faced’s Christmas collections are always something to look forward to. This year, the theme behind them is Christmas In New York. Highlights include hanging tree ornaments (£10 each) that contain deluxe travel-sized versions of Too Faced bestsellers such as Better Than Sex Mascara and their Melted Lipsticks. There’s also a beautiful Merry Macarons Palette (£28), which includes 12 vanilla-scented eyeshadows in shades for the party season, as well as a deluxe travel-sized Better Than Sex Mascara. Everything is packaged in cute pastel candy shades with illustrations of a typical New York Christmas.
Finally, the quirky MAD Beauty have announced their products for Halloween. Their TOMA nail polish brand has three new dark black and berry shades (£7.50 each) and there is a new pumpkin lip gloss (£2.99) that looks like a miniature pumpkin, as well as a pumpkin-embellished travel compact mirror (£2.99) to really get you into the spirit of the season.
