There has been lots of new makeup news over the past week, so that means lots of new colours to get excited about. Cult makeup brand Make Up For Ever has announced a lipstick collaboration with Swedish electropop duo Icona Pop. The new collection of Artist Rouge lipsticks contains 46 shades – 2 of which (a red and a blue) were chosen by Icona Pop. The lipsticks contain macadamia and mallow oils for hydration and come in highly pigmented crème and matte formulas. You can get your hands on them at Debenhams from 1st September for £17 each.
YouTuber Tanya Burr’s beauty collection Tanya Burr Cosmetics has launched its latest collection. The Soft Luxe Collection is available now from Superdrug and online from Feel Unique and is centred around soft and neutral pastel shades. The packaging has had an overhaul for it too, with a more luxurious matte frosted look. There are two new eyeshadow quads – Birthday Suit and Enchanted Dreams (£6), as well as new matte nail polishes (£4.99) and matte liquid lipsticks (£5.99).
Finally, there’s a new Nails Inc Paint Can coming on 15th July – makeup artist and digital influencer Lottie Tomlinson has created a new gold shade for this unique range of spray paint nail polish cans. Good as Gold (£10) is a metallic molten gold and it looks amazing. It’s limited edition too, so get ready.
Over on the skincare front, there’s just no stopping Soap & Glory – their popularity is growing and growing, and so is their product range. The latest addition to the line-up is Arm-A-Gooden (get it?!), a smoothing serum for the backs of your arms that has gently exfoliating micro-spheres to improve skin texture and reduce bumps. It also contains an AHA fruit complex to get rid of dead skin cells, and soft focus pearlescent particles to make skin look visibly better. It has an awakening citrus and rosemary scent too. You can pick this up for £10 from Boots stores now.
Diamond Whites Black Edition Teeth Whitening Liquid (£9.99) has also just launched online. It’s a mouthwash combined with oil pulling – using coconut oil and peppermint essential oil in its antibacterial blend. The blackness comes from activated charcoal from coconut shell – there to add a mild abrasion to the liquid to aid whitening. The mint in this should make it a much more pleasant experience than oil pulling with just basic coconut oil.
