Budget high street makeup brand in Boots, SEVENTEEN, have just announced a line-up of 12 Mega Matte Lipsticks, available from 3rd August. It’s a great mix of reds, pinks, purples and corals; with something to suit every skin tone and to take you from day to night.

Another fabulous budget brand W7 have some new releases. Their Solar Glow kit (£9.95) features a matte bronzer, a shimmer bronzer and a highlighter for all your contouring needs. There is also a new concealer – A Good Hiding (£4.95), which has a sponge applicator to make blending easy on-the-go. Their new Speed Cover Foundation (£5.99) is also aimed at busy women – this stick foundation (which comes in 4 shades) has a handy blending sponge on the other end.

At the other end of the price spectrum, Dolce & Gabbana have revealed their AW16 collection – Wild About Fall is inspired by the Sicilian landscape, so is full of brown, green and gold shades. Highlights include the Smooth Eye Colour Quad in Enchanting Fall (£44), the Intense Liquid Eyeliner in Wild Green (£27) and The Shine Lipstick in Chocolate (£27). It’s available exclusively at Harrods now.

If you want your makeup done for you, or want to try out a bold new look, head to Illamasqua’s new Express Yourself service (£10 for 10 minutes, but redeemable against product) and get transformed. There is a menu of four looks you can try that focus on either the skin, lips, brows or eyes – Chisel & Glow, Brows on Point, Insta Eye and Lip Slay. On the skincare front, cult luxury candle brand Diptyque are adding two new products to their lesser-known skincare line from mid-August. There’s a new oil – the Infused Face Oil (£48) – to boost skin radiance and smooth. It contains sweet almond oil, white iris oleate, meadow grab oil and pastel flower oil. There’s also a new moisturiser – the Essential Face Cream (£50) – to nourish, energise and replenish the skin through prickly pear flower oleate, orange blossom hydrosol, nasturtium extract and bluebonnet extract.
