Brands are at the top of their game with their Christmas collections in 2016. If you like to collect limited edition holiday makeup releases, you are going to find it hard to choose which ones this year…
Fake tan brand Madame LA LA have stepped into the makeup game with the launch of their new Bronzing Ball (£14). This cream shimmering bronzer, shaped into a dome, allows you to get right into the contours of your face effortlessly. It contains coconut water and Vitamin E in its formula too – offering hydration, comfort and a pleasant coconut scent. Perfect for adding some colour to your face for the party season.
Nutcracker Sweet is MAC Cosmetics’ much anticipated 2016 holiday collection, available from November. This mega new range, in cute pink and purple polka dot packaging, contains everything from lipsticks (£17) in shades of pink and purple, to a Sweet Cool Eye Compact (£29) with a range of nine light to dark purple and pink-toned shades. Add some peach blushers and some golden shimmer and you have a collection that’s perfect for the festive season.
Another Christmas collection announcement has come from ARTDECO – also available from November. Their Crystal Garden Christmas Collection comprises a great selection of limited edition products, with packaging adorned with Swarovski crystals. There are lots of beautiful sparkly silver tones throughout the range that includes eye liners, nail polishes, eyeshadows and lipsticks.
Finally, uber-luxurious makeup brand Marc Jacobs Beauty have created the ultimate in collectable holiday beauty products with their new vegan leather pouch-encased palettes. The real highlight is their Style Eye-Con No.20 Period Eyeshadow Palette (£76), which contains a mix of 20 nude and smoky-toned shimmer, metallic, matte and sheen eyeshadow shades in an oversized palette. You can pick this and the rest of the collection up from John Lewis from 25th October.
